This didn’t start with a business plan, capital injection, or strategy deck. It started with the will to practice and learn to become excellent around these cars and that learning still continues everyday.

Born and raised in Jyväskylä, Finland. The rally capital of Northern Europe, home of Ouninpohja and the spirit of Group B. Here, the sound of sideways cars over blind crests isn’t just nostalgia. It’s DNA.

Elfwerks exists for people who love machines, bold stories, and doing things with heart.

the Route to Elfwerks

My name is Juuso Suonio — I’m the guy who started Elfwerks.

The initial plan wasn’t necessarily to end up here. It was the machines and the dreams that brought me.

Back in the mid-2000s, as a teenager, I got to hang around people with Audis and Volkswagens. That slowly turned into a love affair with Golfs.

In 2009, I bought my first car, a Golf GTI I still own today. Since then, it’s been a long road of tools, late nights, and hard decisions, following the dream of becoming a builder and eventually, working with Porsches.

Elfwerks wasn’t built overnight,

It was just something that had to happen.
